A Prince George County tradition and staple of the fall season returned for another year as Prince George County Public Schools hosted its annual community breakfast at Prince George High School on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

An event with a 40-plus-year history, the community breakfast serves as an opportunity to thank the individuals, businesses, and organizations who help support the work of the local school division. It also celebrates Prince George County Public Schools' strong partnership with its stakeholders in local business, government, faith-based, and community organizations.

Over 100 people filled the high school’s commons area for breakfast, served by PGCPS’ Food & Nutrition Services department, and entertainment provided by the 8th and 9th grade chorus at N.B. Clements Junior High School, led by director Anna Wheeler.

Students from Prince George High School’s DECA organization, sponsored by Prince George High School educator Kim Beales, delivered drinks and offered the school’s signature “Royal” hospitality to guests.

In addition to providing the entertainment for this year's event, N.B. Clements Junior High School's Art I students worked collaboratively to create mixed-media decorations for the breakfast. Students created painted paste papers which were collaged, cut, and used for multiple aspects of the decor. Some of the art was digitized with the help of the high school's specialty print shop to create placemats for every guest. The school also created "Clements Ducks," made by their ninth graders, as gifts for the breakfast's attendees.
