Fort Worth ISD Boundary Changes for Fall 2026 Approved

As part of the district’s Master Facility Plan to improve operational efficiency, three traditional campuses and one Choice campus will be part of consolidations in the 2026-27 school year.
With that consolidation, there will be attendance boundary changes going into effect for the 2026-27 school year.
Students at Edward J. Briscoe Elementary School will be reassigned to Carroll Peak, Morningside, and Van Zandt-Guinn elementary schools.
Rezoning:
Students north of Maddox Ave. will attend Van Zandt-Guinn ES
Students south of Maddox Ave. and north of stream/culvert will attend Carroll Peak ES
Students south of stream/culvert will attend Morningside ES
Students at Milton L. Kirkpatrick Elementary School will be reassigned to Washington Heights and Dolores Huerta elementary schools. To further balance enrollment and utilization within the pyramid, a portion of the Dolores Huerta attendance zone will be reassigned to W. J. Turner elementary school.
Rezoning:
Students west of Azle Ave. will move from Dolores Huerta ES to W.J. Turner ES
Students west of Angle Ave. will attend Dolores Huerta ES
Students east of Angle Ave. will attend Washington Heights ES
Students at Charles E. Nash Elementary School will be reassigned to Rufino Mendoza, Oakhurst, and Versia L. Williams elementary schools.
Rezoning:
Students east of Union Pacific railroad will attend Oakhurst ES
Students south of Belknap Street will attend Versia Williams ES
Students west of Union Pacific railroad and north of Belknap Street will attend Rufino Mendoza
Students at Riverside Applied Learning Center will be reassigned to Bonnie Brae Elementary School. Bonnie Brae will transition to an applied learning instructional model for all students, both those students within the traditional attendance boundary and those applying to attend via the Gold Seal Programs of Choice application process.
Students attending a consolidating traditional campus via an approved transfer will be reassigned to their home campus based on their address. All families remain eligible to apply for a transfer to another campus through the existing Fort Worth ISD process.
